About Aurangabad Caves
Overshadowed by Ajanta and Verul, and much quieter for it. The carving in the later caves — particularly the dancing figures in Cave 7 — is as accomplished as anything at the more famous sites, and you will often have it largely to yourself. Twenty minutes from the city centre.

Aurangabad Caves is approximately 8 km from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, where several of our partner hospitals are located. Two hours. We can arrange a car and driver, and if you are travelling with a recovering patient we will check the plan with the treating doctor first.
